Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has revealed that he is pleased to have Vincent Kompany available for selection again.
The skipper has missed the last four matches following a red card for a foul on Manchester United winger Nani.
However, the Belgian international has now served his punishment and is expected to return to the City starting lineup for tomorrow's trip to Everton.
"Vinny is an important defender for us, a leader," said Mancini. He is a strong defender and has improved a lot in the last two to three years. He is one of the best in Europe."
Kompany has received two red cards this season.
