Devante Cole suffers racist abuse?

A report claims that Manchester City's youth striker Devante Cole was racially abused during a recent match in Spain.

Manchester City striker Devante Cole was reportedly the subject of racist abuse during last week's UEFA Youth League match against Atletico Madrid in Spain.

It has been claimed that the 18-year-old was abused by sections of the crowd and members of the opposition.

A UEFA official made an announcement during the game over the speaker system for the misconduct to stop, which has prompted the governing body to launch an investigation, according to the Daily Mail.

Cole, who is the son of former Manchester United and City centre-forward Andy, scored the only goal of the encounter for Patrick Vieira's side as they advanced through to the last eight of the competition.
