AC Milan defender Leonardo Bonucci has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for both Barcelona and Manchester City.
During the summer, Bonucci ended his seven-year association with Juventus by linking up with Milan, but the San Siro outfit have struggled in Serie A this season.
Milan's form has led to some of European football's biggest clubs showing an interest in the 30-year-old and according to Calciomercato, both Barca and City are keen on securing the player's signature in January.
The two clubs are top of their respective divisions without suffering a defeat, but there is a need to strengthen at centre-back either in January or in the summer.
Barcelona's Javier Mascherano is close to completing a move to the Chinese Super League, while City boss Pep Guardiola continues to have worries over the fitness of Vincent Kompany.
