Manchester City continue to monitor Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze ahead of a potential future move for the midfielder, according to a report.
The Citizens were linked with the 25-year-old towards the end of the summer transfer window as the treble winners explored the market to find replacements for Ilkay Gundogan and Riyad Mahrez.
Pep Guardiola's side eventually splashed the cash on Matheus Nunes and Jeremy Doku, but they allegedly failed with a £60m bid for Eze on the final day of the transfer window.
According to Football Insider, Crystal Palace value Eze at around £70m and Man City still hold an interest in the midfielder.
The report adds that both Guardiola and Citizens sporting director Txiki Begiristain are "huge admirers" of Eze and the club will continue to monitor his progress heading into the New Year.

Eze has developed into a key player for Crystal Palace since joining the club from Queens Park Rangers in the summer of 2020 for around £17m.
The versatile midfielder has made a total of 102 appearances for the Eagles across all competitions, scoring 16 goals and registering 13 assists.
Eze ended the 2022-23 campaign as Palace's top scorer, netting 10 times in the Premier League as well as contributing with four assists to help Roy Hodgson's side move away from the relegation picture before finishing in 11th place.
The two-cap England international started each of Palace's opening seven Premier League games this season, but he is now facing an extended period on the sidelines with a hamstring injury.

Eze was ruled out of Gareth Southgate's England squad for this month's international break and he may not return to first-team action until the middle of November.
Palace's No.10 is not the only midfielder believed to be on Man City's radar, as they are also understood to hold an interest in Bayern Munich's Joshua Kimmich.
A recent report claimed that the Citizens will consider making a move for the 28-year-old in the summer of 2024.
Fellow German Toni Kroos of Real Madrid has also been linked with Man City, as have the likes of Benfica's Joao Gomes and RB Leipzig's Dani Olmo.
One midfielder who could be heading for the exit door of the Etihad Stadium is Kalvin Phillips, who is reportedly ready to consider a move away due to a lack of game time under Guardiola.
