Manchester City are reportedly prepared to open contract negotiations with goalkeeper Ederson.
The Brazil international has built a reputation as one of the best goalkeepers in the world since joining Man City from Benfica in 2017.
Ederson has made over 325 appearances during his time with the Citizens, helping the club win five Premier League titles, a Champions League trophy, two FA Cups, four EFL Cups, a UEFA Super Cup and a Club World Cup.
According to the Daily Star, Man City are preparing to hold contract talks with their number one goalkeeper in the near future.
The Citizens are in no immediate danger of losing Ederson's services, with the shot-stopper under contract until June 2026.

Nevertheless, the report suggests that the European champions believe it makes sense to begin negotiations over a new deal as soon as possible.
With Ederson said to earn around £120,000 a week, the Citizens are willing to increase that figure to £200,000 as they look to tie the 30-year-old down to a long-term deal.
Ederson, who has 27 appearances this term, is currently on the sidelines after sustaining an injury in Man City's 1-1 draw with Liverpool last weekend.
Stefan Ortega came off the bench to replace Ederson in the top-of-the-table clash before starting Saturday's 2-0 FA Cup win over Newcastle United at St James' Park.

Like Ederson, Man City are hoping to agree a new contract with Ortega, whose current deal is set to expire at the end of the 2024-25 season.
Ortega has had to settle for 25 competitive appearances since arriving on a free transfer from Bochum in the summer of 2022.
The German goalkeeper is believed to be looking at establishing himself as a number one elsewhere and is seemingly keeping his options open ahead of the summer transfer window.
However, Man City are hopeful that Ortega could be persuaded to sign a new deal if he gets a run of games in Ederson's absence.
Pep Guardiola's side will return from the international break with a crucial Premier League encounter against Arsenal at the end of March.
