Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini hints at Edin Dzeko exit

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini admits that the club could sell Edin Dzeko this summer.

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has revealed that Edin Dzeko could leave the club this summer.

The 29-year-old's future at the Etihad Stadium has been uncertain in recent weeks, with Roma among a handful of teams reportedly interested in his services.

Dzeko, who joined City from Wolfsburg for £27m in 2011, was an unused substitute in their pre-season victory over Roma in Melbourne on Tuesday.

"Edin didn't play the last game as it's not clear if he will continue here but he is still working here with the whole squad," Pellegrini is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.

Dzeko scored six goals in 32 appearances for Manchester City last season.
