Yeovil Town held their colour for over an hour against Manchester United, but ultimately succumbed to a 2-0 defeat in this afternoon's FA Cup third round clash at Huish Park.

The hosts, languishing at the bottom of League One, made a good start as Kieffer Moore found himself tussling with David de Gea for a cross, before the half-cleared attempt fell to Joe Edwards. His shot from distance, however, flew wide.
In the 20th minute, Yeovil began to mount pressure against the Premier League giants, as Stephen Arthurworrey and Nathan Ralph combined to force defensive mistakes from the Red Devil back line.
Moments later, Moore and Paddy McNair clashed heads while jostling for a ball, which led to the Man Utd defender falling to the ground and needing medical treatment.

The visitors had to wait until the half-hour mark before they registered their first chance on goal, though James Wilson's effort proved tame.
Ander Herrera then beat his marker on the edge of the box as first-half injury time loomed, but his shot flew well wide of Steer's goal.
Arguably the best chance of the game thus far fell to Yeovil in the 54th minute, as Jonny Evans's inadvertent flick-on played in Moore, but the striker couldn't get the ball out from under his feet and fired straight at De Gea.
He would come to rue the missed opportunity, as just 10 minutes later, a guided flick fell into the path of Herrera, who went on to smash a volley into the top corner.

The Glovers dusted themselves off and attempted to level proceedings, with Edwards sending a diving header towards the back post, but Angel di Maria was well poised to make a goal-line clearance with his head.
For all of Yeovil's endeavours, United were able to kill the game off right at the death, as Di Maria powered forward and dinked the ball into the top corner of the net.
