Manchester United team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Aston Villa

Sports Mole rounds up all of the latest injury and suspension news ahead of Sunday's Premier League clash with Aston Villa at Villa Park.

Manchester United begin a run of three Premier League games in the space of five days when they take on Aston Villa at Villa Park this Sunday.

Fresh from booking their place in the final of the Europa League, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side now find themselves with a hectic domestic schedule to make up after last weekend's game against Liverpool was postponed due to fan protests.

Solskjaer is expected to make changes given the crammed nature of their fixture list, but Man United do at least enter the game with no fresh injury concerns.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of their injury and suspension news ahead of Sunday's contest.

Anthony Martial

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Anthony Martial is now back jogging on the grass and Solskjaer is hopeful that he will return before the end of the season, but Sunday's match will come too soon for the Frenchman.

Daniel James

Status: Out
Type of injury: Unknown
Possible return date: Unknown

Solskjaer confirmed earlier this week that Daniel James will be absent for "a little while" due to an unspecified injury.

Phil Jones

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Phil Jones has missed the entire 2020-21 campaign so far due to a knee injury and will not be back before the end of the season, meaning that he could have already played his final game for the club.

MANCHESTER UNITED'S SUSPENSION LIST

Man United have no suspension issues heading into Sunday's match.
