Former Manchester United and Manchester City midfielder Owen Hargreaves has admitted that he would one day like to take up management.
The 31-year-old has been dogged by injuries ever since he joined United in the summer of 2007 from Bayern Munich.
A free transfer to City in 2011 failed to reverse his fortunes and as a result he was released at the end of last season.
Having not found a club since, the ex-England international has confessed that he has considered a move into coaching.
"Up to the age of 27, I would have said no," he told BBC Sport. "But then after spending so much time out injured and looking from the outside in, I have begun to think it might be nice to be a manager.
"I like the idea of working with impressionable young people. A lot of very talented kids go by the wayside."
More recently Hargreaves has been linked with Queens Park Rangers and host of American clubs.
