Internazionale coach Claudio Ranieri has said that Wesley Sneijder is the club's leader.
Sneijder, who has been linked with a move to Premier League outfit Manchester United since the summer, has been an integral part of the Milan club since his arrival from Real Madrid in 2009.
Ranieri, who took over at the club earlier this season, insists that the Dutchman should embrace his leadership role.
"Sneijder is our prize jewel," the Italian told Mediaset.
"He has to give 120%. He mustn't just be part of the squad; he has to be our leader, the one who takes us by the hand and shows us the way to great things."
Inter are currently in fifth place in the Italian league, eight points adrift of leaders Juventus.
