Real Madrid have reportedly identified Chelsea head coach Thomas Tuchel as a possible replacement for current manager Carlo Ancelotti.
Los Blancos are well-placed to win La Liga this season, while they will take on Chelsea in the quarter-finals of the Champions League next month.
However, Ancelotti's position at the helm is far from secure, with the Spanish giants thought to be considering replacing the experienced manager ahead of next season.
According to Sport, Tuchel is 'best positioned' for the role due to the current uncertainty surrounding his future at Chelsea.
The London club's off-the-field problems could lead to Tuchel leaving Stamford Bridge this summer, and Manchester United have also been credited with an interest in his services.
The 48-year-old has won the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and Club World Cup since arriving at Chelsea in January 2021, with the German winning 51 of his 79 matches at the helm.
Los Blancos president Florentino Perez is allegedly a huge admirer of the former Paris Saint-Germain head coach.
