Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers is reportedly house-hunting in Cheshire amid suggestions that he is close to becoming Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's replacement at Manchester United.
Rodgers has allegedly been identified by the 20-time English champions as the head coach to take the team forward, with Solskjaer under immense pressure at the helm following a poor run of form.
A recent report claimed that the Northern Irishman had already verbally agreed a deal with the Red Devils but wants to wait until the end of the 2021-22 campaign before taking the role.
According to The Sun, Rodgers is currently house-hunting in Cheshire, with the 48-year-old potentially taking over at Old Trafford before the end of the year.
A number of senior Man United players are allegedly keen for Solskjaer to be sacked, with the team losing three of their last four matches in the Premier League.
As it stands, the Norwegian will be in charge for next weekend's league trip to Watford, which comes before a key Champions League contest away to Villarreal.
