Manchester United midfielder Tom Cleverley has been sent for a scan following a knock picked up against Ajax on Thursday night.
The 22-year-old was withdrawn after an hour of the 2-1 Europa League defeat at Old Trafford with a foot injury.
"He got a knock. We sent him for a scan but we don't think it's serious," manager Sir Alex Ferguson told MUTV.
Cleverley was one of six United players called up to the England squad for next week's friendly against the Netherlands at Wembley Stadium.
