Barcelona have reportedly readied themselves to offer Ousmane Dembele to Manchester United in a swap deal involving Red Devils attacker Anthony Martial.
The Catalan giants signed Ferran Torres from Manchester City at the beginning of this mid-season transfer window, but in order to register the Spanish international, Barca need to offload some current players' wages.
Dembele has only made five La Liga appearances for Xavi's side this season, mainly due to injury problems, and the 24-year-old's current contract at Camp Nou is set to expire in the summer.
According to Spanish reports from ara, Barcelona are keen to offer Dembele to Man United in a swap deal which would see Martial move in the opposite direction away from Old Trafford.
Ralf Rangnick has confirmed that the 26-year-old wishes to leave Manchester this month in search of regular minutes on the pitch, suggesting that Martial would jump at the chance to seek this gametime at Barcelona.
Martial has scored 79 goals in 268 appearances since arriving at Man United in 2015, but he is unlikely to come cheap for Barca with the Red Devils demanding a high value for the French international.
