Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas has shared his excitement after reporting for pre-season training with the Catalan giants last night.
Fabregas has been linked with a move to Manchester United this summer, with Barca rejecting a pair of bids from the Premier League champions in recent weeks.
The Spanish international was given an extended summer break by the La Liga champions because of his participation in the Confederations Cup last month.
The 26-year-old tweeted: "After successful medical tests this morning, I'm ready and looking forward to the 7pm training with all the guys!"
New Barca coach Gerardo Martino has resisted the temptation to include Fabregas in his squad for tonight's friendly against Lechia Gdansk, with the playmaker to stay in Spain for fitness work.
