Juventus have reportedly moved ahead of Inter Milan in the race to sign Romelu Lukaku from Manchester United in this window.
Inter have been in negotiations over Lukaku for some time but their most recent bid of £54m was rejected by United, who signed Lukaku for £75m in 2017.
Taking advantage of Inter's slow progress over Lukaku, Juventus reportedly entered the race to sign the Belgian earlier this week by offering Paulo Dybala to United as part of a swap deal.
According to the Daily Mail, United have been tempted by the prospect of Dybala coming to Old Trafford and are closing in on a deal with the Serie A champions.
However, Inter do not plan to abandon their pursuit of Lukaku, with manager Antonio Conte - who sought the striker in 2017 - placing a strong emphasis on getting the deal over the line.
Other reports claim that Dybala is reluctant to leave Turin and wants to fight for his place under Maurizio Sarri, which has prompted United to switch their attention to winger Douglas Costa instead.
