Juventus are reportedly ready to open talks with Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea as they consider signing the Spaniard on a free transfer in 2020.

Juventus have reportedly registered an interest in signing Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea next summer.

Despite previous claims indicating that De Gea was ready to pen fresh terms at Old Trafford, the Spain international now has less than a year left on his existing contract.

United find themselves at risk of losing one of their most prized assets for nothing - a scenario which has seemingly attracted the attention of Juventus.

According to The Express, the Serie A champions are willing to open discussions with the 28-year-old regarding a move ahead of next season.

The Italian giants have a history of signing high-profile names on free transfers, having recently brought in Aaron Ramsey and Adrien Rabiot in similar circumstances.

United are likely to continue to negotiate a new deal with De Gea's representatives over the coming months.
