Napoli have reportedly moved closer to securing the summer signing of PSV Eindhoven winger Hirving Lozano.
The Mexico international has long been linked with a move to a big club in Europe, and a return of 19 goals and nine assists from 36 outings in the Eredivisie and Champions League this season has only increased interest in his signature.
Manchester United had been considered to be one of the frontrunners to sign Lozano, but according to Corriere dello Sport, Napoli are in pole position to sign the 23-year-old.
The report claims that discussions have already been held between the player's agent, manager Carlo Ancelotti and president Aurelio de Laurentiis regarding a transfer.
Lozano will allegedly cost in the region of £34m, with the player happy to pen a five-year contract with the Italian giants.
