Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is reportedly considering a January move for Roma defender Kostas Manolas.
Manolas, 27, has been with Roma for the last four years, making more than 180 appearances for the Italian giants in all competitions.
Chelsea are long-term admirers of the Greece international and have recently been linked with a move, while Juventus, Bayern Munich and Arsenal are also said to be interested.
Manolas's current contract includes a release clause of £31.5m, and it is understood that Roma are in the process of drawing up a fresh contract for the defender, which would erase the current buy-out figure.
According to Corriere dello Sport, United are closely monitoring developments, and the 20-time English champions could make their move in the January transfer window.
Manolas spent two seasons with Olympiacos before joining Roma in the summer of 2014.
