Manchester United 'hold talks with Barcelona over Jean-Clair Todibo'

Manchester United reportedly meet with Barcelona to discuss a potential deal for centre-back Jean-Clair Todibo.

Manchester United reportedly met with Barcelona earlier this week to discuss Jean-Clair Todibo.

The 19-year-old continues to be strongly linked with a move away from Camp Nou, having struggled for first-team action since arriving from Toulouse in January.

AC Milan are thought to be in talks with Barca over a January swoop for a player who is allegedly valued in the region of £21m by the Spanish champions.

However, according to Sport, United have entered the race for the centre-back and even held talks with Barca in Spain earlier this week to discuss the possibility of a January deal.

Todibo has only made three appearances for Barca in the first half of the 2019-20 campaign, while he has featured on just five occasions for the club since arriving almost 12 months ago.

United broke the world transfer record for a central defender when they signed Harry Maguire over the summer, and the England international has been paired with Victor Lindelof at the back for the majority of the season.
