Manchester United have reportedly not yet given up hope of retaining the services of out-of-contact midfielder Marouane Fellaini.
The Belgium international's Old Trafford future has been unclear for the past few months after turning down the offer of a new deal.
Fellaini is now free to join a new club, with Arsenal the most recent side to be linked, but PA suggests that the 30-year-old could yet stay on with the Red Devils for at least another year.
United's original offer is said to still be on the table, and boss Jose Mourinho is now awaiting a decision from the former Everton ace.
Speaking prior to the end of the 2017-18 campaign, Mourinho admitted that he was "positive" Fellaini would agree fresh terms, despite starting just two Premier League games from the turn of the year.
