Manchester United reportedly remain keen on securing the signing of Leicester City defender Harry Maguire this summer.
The centre-back penned a new contract at the King Power Stadium last year, which ties the England international to the Foxes until the end of the 2022-23 campaign.
United have long been linked with an approach for the player, however, as the North-West giants look to make changes to their backline.
Leicester allegedly value Maguire in the region of £90m, but the London Evening Standard claims that United have not been put off by that price-tag.
The report adds that club officials feel that the asking price is 'excessive', although it is not enough for United to end their interest in the 26-year-old.
Manchester City are also said to be monitoring the situation.
