Manchester United have reportedly set a seven-day deadline for Inter Milan to sign Romelu Lukaku.
The Serie A giants are known to be keen on the Belgium international, who in turn would welcome a switch to San Siro after just two years at Old Trafford.
However, there remains doubts over whether Inter can afford to sign the 26-year-old, having continued to fall short of United's valuation.
According to the Daily Mail, that has led to United demanding a quick resolution, aware that time is running out to find a suitable replacement.
The current transfer window closes on August 8, which already leaves United with just two weeks to complete what would be a major transfer ahead of the new season.
The Premier League will likely keep Lukaku should they not receive a bid in the region of £75m.
