Manchester United put off by Marco Reus asking price?

Manchester United reportedly turned down the chance to sign Marco Reus after being told by Borussia Dortmund that the midfielder would cost them £60m.

Manchester United were reportedly put off by Borussia Dortmund's £60m asking price for Marco Reus when enquiring about the midfielder.

The Red Devils made an attempt to sign the German international during their negotiations with Dortmund over the loan move of Adnan Januzaj.

However, United were quick to turn their focus away from Reus after being told that he would cost them £10m more than they were willing to spend, according to ESPN.

Reus has been linked with the likes of Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool during the past year.
