Manchester United reportedly had scouts in attendance for West Ham United's Premier League clash with Manchester City on Saturday to watch Hammers midfielder Declan Rice.
Rice, 19, will see his current deal at the London Stadium expire at the end of next season, and it is understood that West Ham are currently refusing to meet the teenager's wage demands.
Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea have all been credited with an interest in the Republic of Ireland international over the last few months.
However, according to Metro, United are also in the hunt Rice, with the Red Devils sending scouts to watch the teenager in his team's 4-0 defeat to the Premier League champions.
Rice has made 13 first-team appearances for West Ham during the 2018-19 campaign.
