West Ham United are reportedly weighing up whether to make a move for Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Victor Wanyama when the transfer window reopens.
The Hammers are believed to be after cover in the middle of the park, having heavily relied on teenage central defender Declan Rice over the past couple of months.
Wanyama has been targeted as a possible January target for West Ham, according to The Sun, thanks to his seven years' experience in British football - five of those in the Premier League with Southampton and Tottenham.
Mauricio Pochettino has used the Kenya international just five times this season, with Eric Dier, Mousa Dembele and Harry Winks instead preferred.
United could now make a move for Wanyama, who cost Spurs £11m to sign from Southampton in June 2016.
