Juan Mata's father has claimed that the Manchester United attacker has not yet decided whether he will be signing a new contract with the 20-time English champions.
Mata will see his current deal with United expire at the end of the 2018-19 campaign.
The player's father has revealed that the Red Devils have offered the 30-year-old a renewal, but the Spaniard could decide to seek pastures new in this summer's transfer window.
"Manchester United have offered to renew us, we are very happy," Juan Mata Senior told Cadena SER. "But there are proposals from Champions League teams. Spain, maybe, but today is not the day to talk, it is not yet decided."
Mata joined United from Chelsea during the 2014 January transfer window.
The attacker has made over 200 appearances for the English giants in all competitions, winning one FA Cup, one EFL Cup and one Europa League during his time at the club.
