Manchester United have reportedly missed out on signing Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanic during the next transfer window.
At a time when the Italian giants are said to be keen on a reunion with Paul Pogba, several of their midfielders have been linked with a move away from Turin.
After a four-year spell at the Serie A champions, Pjanic, who has now turned 30 years of age, has been suggested as a potential addition to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's squad.
However, Sport claims that the Bosnia-Herzegovina international has his sights set on clinching a move to Barcelona.
Although there remains uncertainty over a part-exchange deal involving Arthur, Pjanic has allegedly already agreed terms with the Catalan giants.
Much could depend on whether Juventus can land another of Barcelona's squad members as part of the proposal.
