Newcastle goalkeeper Martin Dubravka has emerged as a shock target for Paris Saint-Germain this summer, according to a report.
The 30-year-old had been keen to secure a new contract at St James' Park, but Newcastle's managerial change this summer has delayed matters.
According to the Daily Mail, Dubravka is wanted as cover for Alphonse Areola, with Kevin Trapp currently in talks with Eintracht Frankfurt to make his loan move permanent.
PSG have already let go of Gianluigi Buffon this summer, with the Italian having since returned to Juventus on a free transfer.
Dubravka has also been on the radar of a number of Premier League sides, with Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa having shown an interest.
The Slovakian goalkeeper, who has been in the North East for 18 months, started all 38 games for Newcastle in the 2018-19 campaign, keeping 11 clean sheets.
