Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has hinted that Gareth Bale will stay at the club this summer despite speculation to the contrary.
The likes of Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain have been linked with big-money moves for the Wales international after he was limited to just 19 league appearances last season due to injury.
However, Perez talked up the contribution Bale has made at the club since his world-record move from Tottenham Hotspur and hopes that the two parties can continue to enjoy more success in the future.
"He was four months out injured but he has given us many things in the three seasons," he told reporters.
"People say that I have preferred players, but I've brought them all with the same affection. Including Marcelo, who I didn't sign. We hope that Bale gives us lots of satisfaction."
Bale has scored 67 goals in 150 appearances for Madrid since his 2013 arrival.
