Benfica left-back Alex Grimaldo is reportedly on the radar of Arsenal and Manchester United, as well as Italian giants Juventus.

Premier League rivals Arsenal and Manchester United are reportedly both in the running to sign defender Alex Grimaldo from Benfica.

Italian giants Juventus are also believed to be keen on the 23-year-old, who has appeared more than 100 times for the Primeira Liga side since arriving from Barcelona in December 2015.

Grimaldo has performed well at left-back for Benfica over the past few seasons and, according to Tuttosport, his displays have not gone unnoticed as Arsenal and Man United are closely monitoring him.

Benfica supposedly want around £35m for the former Spain Under-21s international, with Barcelona due a percentage of that share due to a clause written into his contract.

Juve in particular are desperate for cover at left-back and have been tipped to move for Real Madrid's Marcelo, though getting a transfer over the line has proved difficult and Grimaldo may be considered a more convenient option.
