Alexis Sanchez reportedly has no plans to return to Manchester United following the conclusion of his loan spell with Inter Milan.
The Chilean, who moved to Old Trafford in January 2018, has failed to demonstrate his qualities under either Jose Mourinho or Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, scoring just twice in all competitions last season.
It was confirmed earlier this month that Sanchez had completed a season-long loan move to San Siro, following his teammate and friend Romelu Lukaku, who joined on a permanent deal for £75m.
According to The Mirror, Sanchez does not plan to play for the Red Devils again after 18 tumultuous months at the club.
There is no option-to-buy clause on Sanchez's contract at Inter, but the 30-year-old hopes to impress Antonio Conte enough that the club moves to make the deal permanent.
Reports have suggested that United players were pleased to see the back of Sanchez, whom they considered to be 'wildly overpaid'.
