Tottenham Hotspur have tabled a new-and-improved £60m offer for Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes, according to a report.
Spurs are believed to have already had bids of £41.5m and £55m rejected by the Portuguese side for their star player, who has also been touted as a target for Manchester United following his incredible 2018-19 campaign.
Fernandes, who played a direct part in 33 league goals last time out, is rumoured to be interested in a move to the English top flight.
With the transfer window closing for Premier League clubs in less than a day's time, the Daily Mail claims that Tottenham have tabled €55m up front and €10m in add-ons.
However, Sporting are believed to be unhappy with the amount offered and are holding out for a larger bid on deadline day.
