Robin van Persie has admitted that he is unsure whether he will sign a new long-term deal with Manchester United.
The Dutch skipper joined United from Arsenal in the summer of 2012 and has netted 56 goals in all competitions for the club.
However, the 31-year-old has been criticised for some below-par performances this season, despite scoring a healthy eight league goals in 21 matches.
"It is not up to me. For the moment I am staying here for 18 months," the Manchester Evening News quotes him as saying.
"I can't look into the future. I don't know what is going to happen after that."
Van Persie scored 26 times in the 2012-13 season as United won the league during the striker's first season at Old Trafford.
