Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Kenny Jackett has rejected rumours that the club are interested in signing Manchester United midfielder Jesse Lingard.
Speculation about a possible loan move circulated on social media, but Jackett has no intentions of signing the 22-year-old.
"We're not close to any deals," the Express & Star quotes Jackett as saying. "We're not close to one for Jesse Lingard, whether that's to even bring him in on loan. It's not something we've pursued or are pursuing."
Lingard has had loan spells at Leicester City, Birmingham City and Brighton & Hove Albion during his United career.
