Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has reportedly reiterated that he wants to sign Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba in January.
Despite months of speculation regarding the World Cup winner over the summer, the Frenchman ultimately remained at Old Trafford, with United insisting that they have no desire to complete a sale.
However, with it widely being suggested that the 26-year-old will not contemplate a new contract with United, talk continues regarding a transfer to the Bernabeu.
According to reports in Spain, Zidane has informed club officials that he wants Pogba to join his first-team squad at the beginning of 2020.
Real allegedly expect United to demand in the region of £160m for their most prized asset, who effectively has a deal in place with the English giants until 2022.
United would also not consider parting ways with Pogba unless they are able to sign a replacement at the midway point of the campaign.
