Didier Deschamps has reportedly decided to call it quits as manager of Marseille.
The 43-year-old, who has previously been linked with the vacant managerial position at Tottenham Hotspur, is believed to have become disillusioned with life at the Ligue 1 club.
Deschamps is believed to have grown tired of Marseille's lack of ambition and has fallen out with sporting director Jose Anigo, according to L'Equipe.
Reports in France have claimed that the club, who finished in 10th place last season, are yet to accept Deschamps's resignation but it is likely that they will be forced to let go of the former Juventus coach.
Deschamps is believed to be the favourite to take over from Laurent Blanc in the France national team.
