Newcastle United striker Yoan Gouffran feels that his side should have taken more from their 1-1 draw with West Bromwich Albion.
The 26-year-old scored his second goal for the club when he opened the scoring at The Hawthorns, but the Magpies were pegged back by a Billy Jones goal and had to settle for a point despite having numerous chances.
Gouffran told the club's official website: "Of course I'm happy to have scored, but I really would like to have won the game. We had a lot of pressure, which was good, but unfortunately in the second half they scored early so it was a different picture.
"Their goal helped them a lot because the crowd woke up after the goal so it was difficult in the second half. We had other situations to score but unfortunately we didn't."
Newcastle are now 15th in the Premier League following the draw and are six points clear of the relegation zone.
