Parma midfielder Massimo Gobbi is confident that Antonio Cassano will score goals for the club next season.

Parma midfielder Massimo Gobbi has revealed that new teammate Antonio Cassano "likes to laugh and joke around".

However, Gobbi, who has been with Parma since 2010, has insisted that the former Inter Milan forward "has incredible qualities".

"Cassano is accustomed to working with champions and wants to give us a hand," Football Italia quotes Gobbi as saying.

"He can really fire all of us up. He likes to laugh and joke around in the locker room too, but when we have to work, he puts in the effort.

"He has incredible qualities and I hope he can help us to score many goals this season. The club is giving its all and we want to do better than ever in Parma's centenary year."

Cassano scored five goals for Inter last season.
