Preston North End have completed the loan signing of Bolton Wanderers striker Craig Davies until the end of the season.
The Wales international has been with the Trotters for 12 months, but has struggled to find his best form this season, failing to score in 11 appearances.
Preston boss Simon Grayson told the club's official website: "The fact we have been able to sign a player who has been starting at a Championship club shows our intentions."
Davies, who has also played for Barnsley and Chesterfield, said: "I have been a bit unfortunate in the first part of the season through injury, but hopefully the second half of the season I can do really well and play a lot of games for Preston and help push for promotion."
Preston are fourth in League One.
