PSG came close again soon after when Zlatan Ibrahimovic found space in behind the defence, although his powerful effort went over bar.
The first chance of the match for the visitors came to Aleksandar Mitrovi,c who fired over when well placed inside the box.
Anderlecht worked another opening for Mitrovic soon after, but his low shot was comfortably saved by goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu.
At the start of the second half, Anderlecht keeper Bronislav Kaminski was relieved to see a header from Ibrahimovic drift just wide of his post.

Against the run of play, the visitors went ahead in the 68th minute. Demy de Zeeuw latched on to a pass from Sacha Kljestan before he fired in a low shot past Sirigu.
Their lead didn't last long, however, as within two minutes PSG were level. Ibrahimovic saw his initial shot saved by Kaminski but after the ball came back off the post, he was on hand to tap home the rebound.
Anderlecht were forced to play the final eight minutes of the game with 10 men, after Kljestan was sent off for picking up two yellow cards in quick succession, but the home side were unable to make their advantage count and the game finished level.
