Christophe Jallet says that Paris Saint-Germain are better now than they were when they faced Bordeaux in the Super Cup at the start of the season.

Paris Saint-Germain defender Christophe Jallet believes that his side have already improved this season ahead of their clash with Bordeaux.

The two met before the start of the new campaign in the Super Cup last month, with the Ligue 1 champions edging past Les Girondins 2-1.

Both teams meet again in league action at Stade Chaban Delmas on Friday night, and Jallet feels that his side are stronger than before.

"It's one of those things that happens in football. It's been like that in Paris for years," Jallet told reporters.

"Yes, we only have two days together to prepare for this match, but we have been working together for two months already.

"There's no reason why things won't go well. The understanding between the players is getting better and better."

The match gets underway at 7.30pm.
