Paris Saint-Germain boss Thomas Tuchel is hopeful that Adrien Rabiot will decide to stay with the club this summer.
Rabiot, who controversially decided to remove himself from France's standby list for the 2018 World Cup, has been linked with a move away from PSG ahead of the 2018-19 campaign.
Barcelona have previously been credited with an interest the 23-year-old, while a number of other clubs are believed to be admirers.
Tuchel has said that Rabiot would continue to improve if he commits himself to the French club, but has conceded that the final decision will come down to the player, with his contract due to expire next summer.
"His talent is obvious, his potential is obvious," Tuchel told reporters. "I think there are still more levels to reach and I'm convinced there are still next levels to reach in this club, in his club where he comes from from the youth academy.
"But we know about his contract situation and in this kind of situation it's on the players to make a commitment."
Rabiot scored five times and registered seven assists in 50 appearances for PSG last season.
