Mark Hughes has said that he is "encouraged" by his players in Queens Park Rangers' fight for Premier League survival.
QPR are currently 16th in the league and one point off the drop zone.
"I came into the job with my eyes open. I understood the key part was to stay in the Premier League," Hughes said. "That was the difficult part of the job. That has not changed in respect of what I've seen or what we've brought into the club.
"I'm encouraged with what the players are producing, we've got good players in the building now, who will enable us to win games.
"Once we get through this to survive — and we will do — then we'll have some real fun here and enjoy our time."
Queens Park Rangers travel to fellow league strugglers Blackburn Rovers next week.
