Marco Asensio has labelled Neymar "a great player" amid ongoing talk that the Brazilian forward is wanted by Real Madrid.
Less than a year after swapping Barcelona for Paris Saint-Germain, the £198m superstar could reportedly be on his way back to Spain.
Madrid are said to ready to pounce on Neymar's rumoured discontent at the Parc des Princes by tabling an offer in the summer, despite his Barca links.
Los Blancos attacker Asensio did not give too much away when asked if he could picture Neymar in a Madrid shirt, but admitted that he is a fan of the world's most expensive player.
"We'll see what happens with Neymar," he told Spanish outlet AS. "It's not time to think about it now that we have important things ahead of us.
"He's a great player, he has shown it both in Barca and in PSG, we'll see if we meet in any team."
Neymar had scored 28 goals in all competitions for PSG prior to sustaining a possibly season-ending injury against Marseille last month.
