Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos has allegedly claimed that he earns one more Euro than teammate Gareth Bale.
Cristiano Ronaldo had been Real's highest-paid player for a number of seasons, but the club legend opted to leave the Bernabeu for Juventus during the summer.
That left Bale being believed to be the biggest earner at the European champions, but according to El Mundo, it is Ramos who receives the largest wage packet.
The report claims that the Spaniard takes home marginally more money than the attacker and is now regarded as the dressing room leader at the La Liga giants.
Ramos has just entered his 13th year at the club, while Bale has been representing Los Blancos since 2013.
