Experienced attacker Eden Hazard reiterates that he has no desire to leave Real Madrid this summer despite his lack of action.

Eden Hazard has reiterated that he has no desire to leave Real Madrid during this summer's transfer window.

The 32-year-old has again found it difficult to make his mark for Los Blancos during the 2022-23 campaign, only featuring on nine occasions in all competitions, contributing one goal and two assists in the process.

Hazard's future continues to be called into question, with Real Madrid said to be determined to move the Belgium international on in the upcoming market.

However, the forward is the highest-paid player at Bernabeu, collecting in the region of £384,000 a week, and he has insisted that he wants to stay for the final year of his contract.

"I'm planning to stay. Of course, I think I can play more minutes. I want to enjoy the year left of my contract," Hazard told reporters when questioned on his future after Saturday's Copa del Rey final.

Hazard was again an unused substitute against Osasuna in Seville, where a double from Rodrygo secured a 2-1 victory over Jagoba Arrasate's side in the final of the competition.

The Belgian has only featured on five occasions for Real Madrid in the league this season, but just one of those outings have been starts, playing from the first whistle against Mallorca in November.

Hazard last represented Los Blancos in the middle of April, featuring as a late substitute in the 2-0 victory over Cadiz, but he has not been involved in their last four league matches.

The forward starred for Chelsea ahead of his move to the Spanish capital, playing 352 times for the Blues during an impressive spell, scoring 110 goals and registering 92 assists.

However, Hazard has found it difficult to make his mark for Real Madrid since arriving in July 2019, only managing seven goals and 12 assists in 75 appearances in all competitions.

Earlier this year, the forward insisted that he would 'still be at the club next season' despite his struggles for action and seemingly difficult relationship with head coach Carlo Ancelotti.

"There is respect between us. But I'm not going to say that we talk to each other, because we don't talk to each other. But there will always be respect," Hazard told RTBF when addressing his future.

Real Madrid's attention will now switch from the Copa del Rey to the Champions League, with the capital giants preparing to welcome Manchester City for the first leg of their semi-final on Tuesday night.
