Inter Milan could reportedly attempt to sign Real Madrid forward Luka Jovic on loan in January.
The 21-year-old scored 36 times in 75 appearances for Eintracht Frankfurt before completing a switch to Los Blancos in the early stages of June, penning a long-term deal in the Spanish capital.
Jovic has featured in each of Madrid's four La Liga matches at the start of the 2019-20 campaign, but the striker's route to a starting role is blocked by the in-form Karim Benzema.
According to Calciomercato, Inter will look to sign competition for Romelu Lukaku during the January transfer window, and Jovic has emerged as a loan target for the Italian giants.
Barcelona were reportedly interested in signing the Serbia international during the summer transfer window but were unable to agree a transfer fee with Frankfurt.
Inter have also been credited with an interest in Chelsea's experienced forward Olivier Giroud, who will be out of contract at the end of the 2019-20 campaign.
