AC Milan are reportedly no longer interested in signing James Rodriguez from Real Madrid after being priced out of a move for the forward.
Rodriguez's future has been at the centre of debate at the Bernabeu since the turn of the year after he admitted to being unhappy with his lack of playing time.
The Colombia international's situation improved in the following weeks and it was then suggested by his father that he would remain in place for the long term, but he is thought to have been left angered by boss Zinedine Zidane's decision to leave him out of the squad for last month's Champions League final.
No offers have yet been made for the 25-year-old and, according to Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo, Milan have no intention of tabling a bid.
The Rossoneri, who had hoped to take Rodriguez on an initial loan deal, are said to have turned their attention elsewhere after being told that he is valued at £50m.
