Nacho will reportedly remain at Real Madrid for at least another year, despite the possibility of minimal game time throughout the next campaign.
The 29-year-old has spent his entire professional career at the Bernabeu, making a total of 190 appearances in all competitions.
However, Real are open to parting ways with the Spaniard this summer as they look to raise funds for at least one more new signing.
According to Marca, that has not had any influence on the versatile defender, who would prefer to wait for opportunities with Los Blancos.
The report suggests that Nacho has plenty of admirers, although it appears that he intends to remain loyal to his long-term employers.
As it stands, manager Zinedine Zidane could potentially regard Nacho as fifth in the pecking order at centre-back, behind Sergio Ramos, Raphael Varane, Eder Militao and Jesus Vallejo.
